Over the centuries, in the cozy space of traditional cottages built from stone walls and roofs made of wood, hay and reeds of the Scottish Hebrides, the indigenous people have preserved the traditional hand weaving craft of each piece of famous Harris Tweed.

Natural wool is treated and dyed in vegetable oil before weaving to create natural warm-colored yarns. That old technique is still protected and preserved by the Harris Tweed Association until now. That is also the explanation for the ability to keep warm and the quality of the suits made from Harris Tweed today is no different from the suits made from the early 20th century. The Scottish style is typical in each wool thread, weaving method, diverse patterns and rough but thick appearance as a hidden message for fighting the cold of this country.
With the cross on the globe and the words “Only tweeds woven in the Outer Hebrides are valid” embroidered on it, it is a testament to the uniqueness of the product, made from Harris Tweed wool.
At Vietnam Bespoke Shop, we believe that with each warm Jacket/Coat or elegant Harris Tweed Suit that is hand-tailored, the cold of the North will no longer be a “trouble” for you..
