Made in Huddersfield, England and exclusively from Hardy Minnis and patented in 1907, the suit of Fresco will be an optimum choice for this summer.
There are many question that what exactly is a Fresco and why wears so cool. Originally the Fresco is made from multiple yarn, high twisted wool and has a plain weave. The high twist allows for an open weave, which makes the fabric very airy in the sense that you can feel any breeze. Also, due to its high twist, it has a rather coarse feel to it and a rather hard touch. Also, with the yarn structure of 2×2, the optimum wool grade and its bespoke finish combine for exceptional performance and crease resistance.
Another special thing is, Fresco Lite features an exciting range of cross dye, melange mis and piece dye styles in an extraordinary spectrum of colours from traditional to high fashion. Because of the open weave, the fresco fabric in lightweight quality can be almost see-through, especially if you look at the fabric against the light. In order to cover that up a little bit, fresco has usually not just regular a plain color but much rather a wealth of nuances that help to make it look less see through.
Being named ‘the ultimate travel suit’, this new 9oz (280g) development has all of the performance and wrinkle resistant of the original Fresco with a lighter character and a smoother hand.
