Located in Varese, Italy – a traditional textile hub near Biella, the Brunello mill was established in 1927 by the Brunello family and remains an independent family-run business to this day. With nearly a century of development, Lanificio Brunello relentlessly pursues absolute quality in every thread of fabric.

Notably, Brunello is one of the few mills specializing in jacquard fabrics – intricately woven patterned textiles with rich visual depth, highly favored by VBS for the inner details of jackets. Each jacquard pattern here is nearly one-of-a-kind, showcasing the Italians’ exquisite craftsmanship and deep understanding of fabric structure.
Beyond main fabrics, Brunello also provides premium linings – often considered the “hidden” part but making a significant difference in the feel and breathability of a suit.
